Claire Dibb is a Chartered Management Accountant with over fifteen years of varied commercial finance experience
Claire’s focus at Orchard is to assist businesses with strategic issues, financial management, planning and analysis, and process and project management requirements. She will also be building on her extensive experience in creating and leading projects in areas such as income generation, cost reduction and process management, utilising Six Sigma techniques which have yielded significant financial benefits.
Immediately prior to joining Orchard, Claire was European Pricing Director for GE Commercial Finance, a Pan-European equipment financing business, where she established a new business function across several European countries which improved financial reporting, controls and processes. She also raised the profile of this function by developing her team and improving financial communication with other business functions within the organisation. Other achievements included stabilising financial margins through implementing new pricing policies and escalation procedures, driving income growth through collaborative financial reviews with external customers, and utilising new customer profitability models to identify enhanced product options for key external clients.
Claire’s previous roles have included working for a large financial services group looking at the profitability, risk management and financial planning of several private label credit card portfolios, transforming the traditional accounting functions of two European asset leasing businesses into one consolidated, fully functioning finance department, and leading the European Commercial Finance team for a large manufacturing business.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys travelling and fine food & wine. She also tries to keep fit by running regularly, when she has time!
