Orchard Growth Partners provides part-time and interim finance director services. We work closely with CEOs, NEDs and existing finance directors or finance teams providing strategic financial support. We lift the load from our clients enabling them to focus on sales and profits, whilst we ensure that the client company is being financially managed effectively and efficiently to support the business. Now in our fifth year, Orchard is reorganising for the next stage of our own growth giving rise to some exciting new opportunities.

In response to market research findings, we are now looking to build on that success by appointing a personable and commercial Finance Directors with extensive experience in the Cleantech sector to join as Head of Cleantech. You will have credibility in the Cleantech space but may be lacking the networks and visibility that you need to be successful and build up a portfolio of clients.

In this role you will;

• work with small and medium sized businesses acting as Finance Director but also as a commercial business partner
• manage your own client base and workload yet have the back up and central support of a national organisation,
• be part of a like-minded peer group with whom to exchange ideas and advice
• be comfortable with providing hands-on support to clients as well as high-level strategic input

You can expect a stimulating variety of clients and a high level of central support to assist your success. You will be self-employed and use the Orchard brand and support structure to win and service clients. Our comprehensive and tailored support includes;

• an Orchard Accelerated Launch Program of sales/marketing, lead generation and other launch support to kick you off towards winning your first client, and beyond
• the Orchard Operating Manual, the comprehensive guide on how to succeed within Orchard
• access to our Orchard extranet, the O-net, our extranet repository of business tools, information and administrative support, to leave you to focus on winning and servicing clients
• regular Orchard conferences incorporating, CPD, ongoing practical training and external speakers from the SME world
• close support from a management team with broad experience
• ongoing sales leads and client contacts through our marketing and PR efforts

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial FD to gain control of their earnings and worklife balance and grow their presence in the Cleantech space, by working within a close-knit team.
