Orchard Growth Partners provides part-time and interim finance director services. We work closely with CEOs, NEDs and existing finance directors or finance teams providing strategic financial support. We lift the load from our clients enabling them to focus on sales and profits, whilst we ensure that the client company is being financially managed effectively and efficiently to support the business. Now in our fifth year, Orchard is reorganising for the next stage of our own growth giving rise to some exciting new opportunities.

Up to now, Orchard has focused primarily on the south east. We are now seeking entrepreneurial FDs to take on master franchises across the country to build on the reputation that Orchard has developed in the last four years and to get closer to clients. There will be a master franchisee for each of the following territories: East Midlands, East of England, Wales, North East, North West, Scotland, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, South West.

Successful candidates will be qualified accountants and have occupied senior finance roles. They will also have broad commercial skills and be comfortable with the visibility and profile that a master franchise role brings. Franchisees will be looking to add value to an interesting range of clients but without the non-value adding activities of working in a permanent FD role. They will also relish the autonomy and flexibility of these roles.

Orchard will provide training, support, materials and branding along with our ongoing marketing and PR activities and you will work with a team of professional but down-to-earth, like-minded people across the UK. You will build up a portfolio of client work for yourself and as workload increases you will front projects which will be carried out by a team of FDs that you build up yourself and through our existing database of high-calibre FDs.

You will benefit from a range of activities which will provide you with the ability to make rapid progress in the role;

• working under an established and recognised brand
• an extensive manual and databases including an extranet developed over the last four years to assist in running your franchise
• our ongoing marketing and PR activities
• our existing network of contacts, including key partners such as the Non Executive Directors Association
• a central support function to minimise your non-client time

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial FD to gain control of their earnings and worklife balance as well as build a significant capital stake, by working within a close-knit team.

An investment of between £12k and £30k is payable to secure a franchise.
