Nagesh is a financial director of over fifteen years standing at group and subsidiary level, having gained experience in sectors ranging from manufacturing, retail, distribution, newspaper media to  non- profit making sector.

Nagesh has also acted as a non executive director of a NHS Primary Care Trust. Having recently started his own enterprise and acted as a panel member in assisting start up businesses in sharpening their skills in raising finance, he has gained invaluable insight in to the needs and problems of the SME sector.

Nagesh is a qualified management accountant and a Chartered Director. He is presently conducting doctoral research in managing innovation at Derby University Business School and firmly believes that Financial Director service at strategic level is vital to the growth and long term success of the SME sector enterprise and that the Orchard team makes this a viable option. There is now a general realisation that finance input is not just about yesterday’s performance but more about planning for tomorrow.

Over and above financial control, treasury and reporting skills, Nagesh has significant experience of raising finance, implementing systems, due diligence and managing people issues in the context of restructuring and turnaround situations. Being a Chartered Director, Nagesh has the profile and experience to give the big company discipline and credibility while he is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get involved at operational level when needed. Just as other team members of Orchard, Nagesh has been there, experienced the highs and the lows, and genuinely understands the issues facing businesses whether it is start up funding, managing growth or restructuring.

Nagesh lives in South Leicestershire with his wife and two daughters and enjoys running and tennis.
