Paul Tuson - Principal

Paul is a Chartered Accountant with sixteen years post qualification experience gained in both the profession at KPMG and in industry and commerce in senior finance roles.

Paul's experience has been gained within a broad range of businesses, with emphasis on AIM listed companies.  He has particular experience in the media and technology sectors, with additional experience in telecoms and retail.

Paul's attributes include:

• Commercially astute with twelve years experience of finance roles, including Group Finance Director of three AIM listed UK plcs.
• "City" wise and credible having led two IPOs on successful flotations in difficult markets (one winning IPO of the Year at the AIM awards).
• International exposure, including IFRS, US GAAP, commercial contracts, transfer pricing and foreign exchange.
• Technically proficient; with experience of rapid growth, stagnation, business re-engineering, turn around, MBO and acquisitions.
• Influential, including operating at board level, directly impacting strategy and organisational alignment.
• Significant systems and internal control knowledge, driving efficiency and corporate governance.
• Proven leader and communicator with the ability to coach and optimise staff productivity.
• Passionate, dynamic, entrepreneurial, possessing gravitas and accountable.
• Responsibility for IT, HR and risk management

Paul enjoys quality time with his family and is a sports enthusiast with his particular passions being football, rugby and horse racing.  He attempts to keep fit by playing sport and running (including the occasional half marathon).  He travels internationally to participate in Spoof tournaments and is the current World Champion.
